My dearie...

My dearie?
A hermm..who's that? or more correctly, what's that?
Hehe.. It's my beloved car! (Well, ours actually. Mine and Radin's)
I bought it from a Muslim brother in Coburg. It's a 3rd hand car. When we went to look at it, it was night. So not much we can see in that dark night. But after a test drive, Baba said it was good (well, he's a bit bias cuz he loves Toyota cars).
Then the next morning after cashing out some money $$$, we went back to fetch the car. We went into the car and were surprisingly disappointed that it was not in a very good condition after all (the interior). I think the previous owners were smokers. Warghh, to be honest, I did feel regret buying it. But Baba reassured me that it was a good choice. He then brought me to Bunning's and we bought all the shampoos it needed. We then worked on it all afternoon. Fuh! What a hard work! Finally, it became a beautiful shining white horse! *_*
Now, it has been giving its best service to us for about 6 months now. Love that car! You've been a very good horseyy..
Here's a pic of it..

We then brought it for servicing to Br. M in Dandenong after reaching its 5000 kilometres. Bro M is a very good mechanic, and many Muslims around Clayton & Dandenong like to send their cars to him because he is honest. We waited at his workshop. After a few minutes, his friends came.

An interesting story was that one of them was a Christian. He came and talked to us. He said that Bro M loves to tell stories about the Prophet and the Quran to his friends. He said he also reads the Quran, had even bought a CD of Al-Quran with French translation, and agrees with it except the Syariah. His reason was that he doesn't like the way how Afghanists treat their women; not letting them go out, working and so forth. It is sad to be blinded by a simple reason, which is not even the imperfect or lacking of the Deen, but its followers. Just because of one particular group, he closed his heart for Islam although he sees the truth and the purity of this religion. May Allah one day give him guidance to revert to Islam. I know Bro M surely is hoping for it too.

"Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful"
(Qaf:37)

That is why it is very important for us, the Muslims, to be good ambassadors of Islam.
How to be a good Muslim? By following the Quran. Not by taking some parts out, but taking it as a whole. By being moderate in everything, following the Prophet, being fair, not too harsh and not too lenient. The not-yet-reverters are always looking for good qualities in us, and who knows one day we could be the reason they revert to Islam. And Masha Allah, would that be such a big reward for us in the Hereafter. If they cannot see how special a Muslim is, then they would think that it would be just the same; Muslim or not, except for the additional religious rituals. How pity is that...

Are you proud to be a muslim?

Show it! Prove it! Be proud of IT!
